NSFY (short for No Sex For You) is a rising Swiss alternative rock/metal band known for their bold sound and even bolder attitude. The trio—Dominic (lead vocals, guitar, and producer), Lara (bass and vocals), and Gaspard (drums)—blend rock, metal, and electronic elements into a high-energy, genre-bending sound that’s entirely their own.
The band was founded in April 2024 by Dominic Wieland and Lara Schlüter, originally starting out like many bands do—as a school project. They were first called d.o.2, a name Dominic came up with on the fly for their first gig. The name didn’t stick, but the passion did. After performing in a battle of the bands, a parent in the audience helped book them their first real show. That early momentum fueled what would eventually become No Sex For You—a name born out of an offhand joke during a radio interview, when an interviewer jokingly told a former member, Ollie, “No sex for you, my friend.” The band ran with it, and the inside joke became an identity.
But NSFY is more than just a clever name. Their music is a mix of satire, self-expression, and sonic experimentation. While they don’t claim to have a specific message as a band, their lyrics often explore internal struggles, futuristic chaos, and apocalyptic thoughts—all with a wink of sarcasm. They're here to shake things up and remind people not to take life too seriously.
At their core, NSFY is about passion, fun, and connection. Whether they’re on stage, climbing amps or lying on turntables mid-set, their energy is unmatched. They don’t just want to play music—they want to connect with fans on a personal level and build a community of people who just love loud, honest, and chaotic sound.
For NSFY, this isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way of life. A way to find meaning through music, challenge norms, and bring like-minded misfits together. And as they continue to grow, one thing is certain: they’re just getting started.
